Let's take a quick look on how to enable additional check-out fields for your New Zenler school.
New Zenler, by default, has the email field on the checkout page.
Let us check out how to add other fields like
- First name
- Last name
- Phone
- Address
This would be helpful if you are sending physical products like merchandise, books, learning materials to them in the future.
This is not a mandatory step as they will have to put in their first name and last name while enrolling and creating an account on the thank you page. But there isn't an option to add the address and phone number field inside the thank you page, so it can be added along with the checkout.

It would just contain the pricing plan details, an email field, and the payment gateway options if it's a paid plan.
Along with the email field, you can add additional fields like the first name, last name, address, and phone and you can mark them as required so that students have to provide that information to complete the purchase.
Let's check the steps to accomplish this.
Step 1: Go to the dashboard of your New Zenler school and select the course under "Courses"

Step 2: Pricing Plan
This is an optional step, if you don't have any pricing plans set up in the course, we cannot add the additional fields. So you can add at least a free plan to set everything up and later add your paid pricing plans after integrating a payment gateway if you haven't done that yet.
To create a free plan (or the paid plan for the course if you have that ready), go to the pricing tab within the course and click on "Add New Plan". Then select the "Free" options and follow the process to set up a free plan.

Step 3: Open Checkout Page Editor
Once you have an active pricing plan for the course, go to the pages tab within the course and open the checkout page in the editor.

Step 4: Select the pricing block and open the editor for it.

Step 5: Enable Fields
From the left side panel, select the "Checkout Fields" tab and enable the fields. You can enable all of the required fields and mark them as "required" to make it mandatory to fill this field during checkout.

Step 6: Save Changes
Make sure to save the edits before you exit the editor.
If you have all the fields enabled, your checkout page would look something like this.

It is recommended to only enable the address and phone field if it is really necessary as people might not be comfortable providing such personal details and making the address and phone field is also not recommended. You can make the first and last name as required and just enable the address and phone field, this would be a good setup.
