Upsells Vs Order Bump- The difference
Sometimes if you are new to New Zenler, things might be a bit confusing and that might be the case with Upsells and Order Bumps. While they both aim at getting another purchase from the same customer, they are different in many ways.
An Upsell happens after the purchase. In New Zenler's sales flow, after the student pays for the course on the checkout page he or she is taken to the "Thank You" page where they create their accounts on the site with a password. This is where an Upsell takes place. So before continuing to the Course's dashboard they can enroll in another course with a discount right there on the Thank You page. You can check out the steps below to set up an Upsell.

An Order Bump, as the name suggests is a bump to the existing order and this happens before the first purchase. Or we can say that it happens with the original purchase. While a potential customer is on the checkout page ready to buy the course, they will be able to see the order bump which is like an addition to the existing order that they can opt for at a discount. And they will be billed together for all of the products.

How to set up an Order Bump.
Step 1: Go to your dashboard and open the course settings.

Step 2: Open the pages section for your course and open the checkout page in the editor.

Step 3: Edit the order bump with your course, plan, and other details and hit on "Save Order Bump"

How to set up an Upsell.
Step 1: Go to your dashboard and open the course settings.
Step 2: Open the pages section for your course and open the thank you page in the editor.

Step 3: Edit the Upsell settings on the page. Select course, the plan, discount and all the other settings. Make sure to save changes before you close the editor.

Upsells and Order Bumps are great way to increase your sales. In New Zenler, you can have both Order Bump and Upsells set up in the course sales flow. Some platforms can have multiple Order Bumps and Upsells for the same product, but New Zenler can only do one. This means that you can have one Order Bump and/or one Upsell for a course.
